Follows Barino, a young German-Egyptian drawn into Islamist radical circles in Cologne.
Investigative documentary, following young islamists in Cologne, radicalizing themselves with quran readings, suppoerted by a Fundamentalist islamic community. Barino is the name of the young man whose father, a Coptic Christian, fled to Germany to escape the Islamists. The film follows him on his journey into the Islamist scene. It became his living room, as he says. He spends many hours there every day, studying the original Koran. In conversations with the imam and Islamic friends, Barino learns that Islam means struggle, jihad against the West, against the infidels. But the deeper Barino B. immerses himself in the Islamic community and Islamist scene, the more conspicuous the behavior patterns and some of the statements of his fellow believers become.
